Pathy is the public-facing brand of Pathy LLC, an independent cloud and IT services business led by Carlos Rangel. In this policy, “Pathy,” “we,” and “us” refer to Pathy LLC, the operator of this website. You can contact us at carlos@pathy.cc.

This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit this website or contact us about our services. Work inside a client’s cloud environment is subject to the relevant service agreement and any applicable data processing agreement. This website policy does not replace those agreements.

Information you choose to send. If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any contact details, company details, or attachments you include. We use that information to understand and respond to your request.

The contact page. The inquiry form prepares an email draft on your device. It does not submit your message to a website database or send it automatically. If you choose “Copy draft,” your device’s clipboard receives the draft. Pathy receives your inquiry only when you send the email. Your email application and email provider handle the draft and delivery under their own terms.

Website request information. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. Depending on the request and hosting configuration, this can include your IP address, browser information, requested page, referring page, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events.

Please do not include passwords, access keys, payment card details, government identification, or confidential client data in an initial inquiry.

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to questions, discuss a project, and prepare a requested proposal.
• Maintain correspondence and records relevant to a business relationship.
• Deliver the website, diagnose technical problems, and prevent misuse.
• Meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

An inquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. This website has no account registration, online checkout, or payment processing.

Pathy does not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or visitor analytics on this website. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

The website does not intentionally store contact drafts in cookies or browser storage. Your browser or email application may retain information through its own features. Hosting infrastructure may process information or use essential mechanisms to provide security and deliver the site.

We do not track your activity across third-party websites. Because this site does not use personal information for that tracking or advertising, browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change its behavior. The same no-sale and no-advertising practices apply to every visitor.

Our website hosting provider, Vercel, and the email providers involved in delivering and storing correspondence process information to perform those services. You can read Vercel’s privacy notice for information about its practices.

We may disclose relevant information to professional advisers where needed, to comply with a legal requirement, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of our services. We may also share information when you specifically ask or authorize us to do so.

Following a link to another website takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. References to cloud vendors on this site do not mean your inquiry is automatically sent to those vendors.

We keep correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, maintain relevant business records, and meet legal or contractual obligations. The appropriate period depends on the type of information, whether a project proceeds, and any recordkeeping or dispute requirements. Hosting and email providers may retain operational logs and backups under their own retention settings and policies.

Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those where you live. Any additional transfer safeguards required for a client engagement must be addressed before that work begins.

You can choose what information to include in an inquiry. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have provided, email carlos@pathy.cc with the subject “Privacy request.”

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights to receive a copy of your information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a privacy regulator. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.

We may need reasonable information to verify your identity before disclosing or deleting personal information. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain if we cannot fulfill a request. We do not penalize people for exercising applicable privacy rights.

No website, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use an agreed secure channel for sensitive project material. See our security page for how to report a concern.

This website is intended for people seeking business technology services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can address it.

We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and change the effective date. If an update requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it.
